Introduction
What Roles Do Mentors Fill?
When you think about the roles of a mentor, what words, phrases or mental images come to mind? Write them in the text box below.
We asked a group of 12 school librarians from across the U.S. that question and made a list of their responses. Then we put all of the results into a Wordle. The more often the word or phrase was cited, the larger it appears. Therefore, the larger the word or phrase, the greater the perceived value of that concept.
Here are the results. Were any of these words or phrases on your list?
The Innovation Destination
The Innovation Destination was designed and evaluated by a team from the Center for Digital Literacy at the School of Information Studies, Syracuse University and developed by Data Momentum Inc, in partnership with the Connecticut Invention Convention, By Kids for Kids, New York On Tech, and over 70 school librarians and young innovators.
This site has been serving the youth invention community from 2015 - present.
